28" (unblocked). (Note: this is really stretchy, so it is very forgiving.)
Make a second rectangle of the same size, then follow the finishing instructions below to sew it together. (Before you sew it, pay attention to the “hole” left for the next. It shouldn’t be too big – not more than 14” for this size. If you do think the hole might be too big, you can bring the edge in, on the side that says “sew” below a few inches, to narrow the hole. I did this recently, and it still looks really nice.)

I had to buy another skein of the main color, not sure what I did wrong. It is a great pattern.
